Hallo, wir haben gerade die neuen Flyer für die Touren nach Ingólfshöfði reinbekommen. Wen es interessiert:
Vom 5. Mai bis 18. August jeden Tag (außer sonntags) Abfahrt um 12 Uhr, im Juli zusätzlich um 15 Uhr.
3.000 isk pro Person, Kinder zwischen 6 und 16 in Begleitung der Eltern/eines Erwachsenen 1.000 isk.
Dauert ca. 2,5 Stunden, davon 20 min An- und auch wieder Abreise mit dem Traktor. Vor Ort ist die Tour dann 2-3 km lang (Walk).
Für Einzelpersonen/Familien ist eine Reservierung nicht erforderlich.

Da bei uns immer wieder Gäste nachfragen, ob man JETZT schon Papageitaucher auf Ingólfshöði zu sehen bekommt, habe ich die Anfrage mal direkt an Einar von Hofsnes weitergeleitet. Hier seine Antwort in Auszügen:
We see some few puffins in every trip these days. My wife told me that this
week they have only been looking at handful of puffins, but when I did the
trips last week I could somtimes count about 50 puffins to see. In middle of
April I could count about 1000 puffins in one trip, but in middle of May
they are nesting so there are not as many outsidet the holes. In early June
we normally have the teenagers of puffins coming, and since they don't go
into the holes where their parents nest we can often count many thousunds
puffins in one trip.
But then again, even in July that should be the best time to see puffins you
can have days when almost all of them are out on sea fishing so it is never
possible to promise too much.
